Make sure that your motor mounts are ok. They will eat up flex pipes on transverse-engined  cars as the motor will rock too much.

Just means you need to drive really fast so you aren’t breathing in that exhaust. The police will understand, their Explorers have exhaust in the cabin problems as well.

All Subarus have longitudinally mounted engines. That said, motor mounts can still be a concern on the current  generation of WRX and presumably the STI as well.
