I was talking to someone a couple months ago about the Golf and mentioned how VAG has done “Harlequin versions” of several of their cars.

He corrected me and thought I meant to say “Harley Quinn” as a movie promotional tie-in. I almost facepalmed, but realized that a lot of terms have lost their original meaning through pop culture usage.
