Testing out my new video card (RTX 2060) . My internet is slowing to a crawl now since Steam is also downloading another game. Gotta love bandwidth caps.

I’ve got gigabit internet and my xbox is hard lined to my modem, I love how fast updates like those download. It’s usually actually around ~200MB/s when downloading updates, but with speeds like that, I can’t complain.

I’m disappointed to see the Rockstar Social Club is still a thing...

Same here - usually seems to take a second or two to get rolling but when it does, it’s crazy fast.

Yeah... telco in Canada is a messy subject. I refuse to support Rogers and Bell for their extortion prices directly, so I’m on a third-party ISP reseller. They don’t offer the faster fiber speeds to TPIAs yet, at least not at a reasonable price.
Most of the time, my 25/10 line is sufficient though. I can remote into work with no issues. It’s only when it’s downloading large stuff like this.

Net neutrality? Whats that? Get ready for caps n throttling. Its why i bought avtravel radio for when im on the road for work. Cant stream or listen to anything on the phone or inet with caps and rights ownerships.

It’s not that, in Canada we have strong net neutrality rules. Just that our telco in general is ridiculously expensive for a developed country.
Content is a completely different subject here... with Bell leading the charge by trying to regulate Amazon and Netflix streaming, an (repeatedly) trying to be the piracy police .

Oligopolies rule!
In a bad way, that is.
