Better than the CT5 for sure. Interior looks miles better than the ATS/CTS in pictures at least.

Sure, and it is definitely way better looking than the CT5.

Meh. I'd buy a Mazda 6 signature over it

Externally if I cover the front and back it’s just an ATS again...
And I still won’t forgive them for making the Escala liftgate design into a trunk.

Yes, but it still doesn't hold up to past CTS-V and ATS-V's in the looks department

Do they look fine? Yes. Do they look special? No. The new interiors are way better indeed, but I don’t see these being distinguishable enough.

It’s a bit safe looking. The ATS-V coupe is rather stunning if you ever see one.

My problem is not with the looks inside and out or even the engine specs. My problem is this should straight up NOT be a CT4-V, it should be a CT4-V sport.

hmmmm... nope
its okay looking... i guess

If you cover the front and back of a BMW it’s still going to look like a BMW, isn’t it?
![]() 05/30/2019 at 20:36 |

Not really.
CT5 looks much different than the CTS. CT4 looks more like an ATS refresh.

The sedan always looked better to me. The CT4 definitely looks like a best of both worlds situation.

If you held a gun to my head I couldn’t tell you which was which.

At least it doesn’t have that dumb C-pillar detail.
I am not in love with the name either, more of one trick pony DeNysschen’s cloned ideals.

It looks like it has a tear drop tattoo.

Looks ok. Interior looks pretty good too. I’m not in love with it but I wouldn’t say no to a spirited drive in it.

To me it looks like an Impala with Pep Boys LEDs down the side of the face and a Cadillac emblem stuck in the grille. But what do I know, I think the STI looks damn good.

Hint: The CT5 is the one with all the cheap plastic cladding glued to the side of it.

“We are inviting even more customers into the V-Series family by adding a new level of elevated performance between our Sport models and the ultimate, high-performance track capability that the V-Series has grown to represent.”
As a previous first gen CTS-V owner, I say fuck you cadillac. If you want to dilute the V-badge, then at least have the common decency to call it what it is .... V-sport. Then at least it’s differentiated from the true V cars. Nice cars, sure, but not a true V worthy car.

interior is very reminiscent to e90 era BMW design ...except it’s bland. The trim around the cluster should not match the dash and too many design cues that carry across the GM brands offerings. If they want Cadillac to compete it has to stand out...not from the competition because it does differ, but from GM itself.

If you took the badge off I might have guessed it was Korean I think. I like the Lincolns, they are sharp now.

It’s definitely more interesting and attractive than the CT5. And it doesn’t have that awful fake C-pillar window.
It’s a little too thick-set for me, but I’ll reserve final judgment until I see it in the metal.

Ehhh; I’m guessing V-Sport didn’t create a sense of desirability. Audi has such a great top to bottom A, S, RS lineup with desirability from bottom to top and I’m guessing that going CT4, V-Sport, V didn’t resonate with consumer focus groups. But I’m guessing that they’ll have some kind of higher trim down the line.

It looks nice in a “Look mom, I made an Acura” sort of way
