That’s in the UK. My wife came across it in whatever news feed advertising she gets. It’s neither a dog or a raccoon, more related to a fox, so she tells me.

Sadly the Raccoon Dogs now rule the UK and few UK Oppos remain . On a brighter note, Raccoon Dogs fixed BREXIT .

According to the BBC it’s also called a tanukis, it’s a Japanese mammal. Two escaped from an enclosure and are considered dangerous.

Ye’, it’s not a flattering photo, but I guess whet you want to convey the dangerousness of the animal you don’t want to have something cute looking.
But someone does have one as a pet.
App arently raccoo n dog is the domesticated form of the undomesticated tanuki.
