Could be worse. At least they all are more or less straight and not blocking anything other than the three parking spaces they would use anyway.

I have to say this parking lot would thoroughly confuse me, too.
The concrete pads do look a little like the fancy couch at grandma’s with the plastic cover on it. Better not sit on it...

To be fair, the concrete looks kinda fresh... EXE CPT that it doesn’t even look slightly wet, nor are there any cones or tape blocking the area off. So I dunno why someone would think it’s not cured.

I probably would have done the same thing - concrete looks like a big sidewalk or something else “special”.
But when you think about it, that’s a dumb thought. Of course you’re supposed to park on the concrete. But i still wouldn’t, especially if the first car didn’t. But it’s obviously a parking pad.
Now my brain hurts. Thanks for making my brain hurt this early.

I’ll never forget our parking experiment in college. I lived in a house with 5 other guys off-campus and there wasn’t really a totally obvious parking area at the house. We usually just pulled in diagonally off the driveway, parallel to each other. But there was a huge area out back that was all gravel too.
Our experiment was to see what people would do if we all followed two rules:
1. You cannot park parallel to any other car
2. Don’t block anyone in
It looked like utter chaos in the driveway but it worked. And when other people pulled in it was hilarious to watch. They’d pull in, stop, look around, hesitate, maybe try one or two spots, then eventually settle on something, inevitably parallel to SOME car, any car.
I guess it’s good that people generally want to follow whatever parking trend is visible, but it was a fun experiment anyway.

To be fair, we haven’t painted lines or anything helpful like that yet. The recent rain makes it look wet.
I don’t know, I try not to think like the general public. It makes me feel depressed.
