It’s 78,000 dollars in Spain for fucks sake... that’s a lot of money... a lot more than what it’s supposed to cost as far as I’ve heard. It’s only 5,000 dollars shy of it’s topless brother, the Z4 M40i, and the M2. Granted, you can pile on option after option on those cars... but it’s still too close for comfort.
Honestly, I’d get something different;

First owner’ s noblesse oblige to absorb the depreciation for later owners

I don’t think this car will actually depreciate...

Apply inflation to thw original supra and what price do you get? People sewm to think it was "cheap." Newsflash, it wasnt.

It isn’t the argument I’m making. I’m well aware
that the Supra isn’t more expensive than it was in the 90s.
All I’m saying is that it is strange that the same model sells in the US for 27,000 dollars less than in Spain. I have not seen such a disparity in regular cars ever.

Is that list price or some kind of dealer markup that happens sometimes with new models which may by perception or reality be in demand?

I guess it’s a list price. I’m not certain though.

It’ll launch in the US at about $50k.
