1986 volkswagen runs good some smoke comes out after it’s turn on for few minutes it has been doing that since i bught it 10 years ago 4 years ago the engine was rebuild asking 500 obo

Seems to be missing the rear wiper arm. All in all, with rust and probable mechanical issues, lack of plates (when was it registered last?), plus the lower trim level makes me thing $500 is the right price on this. In true Craigslist fashion, the poster left no contact info except a Craigslist email. So yeah.

I used to not like the Westy front end in favor of the Euro, but the square headlights have grown on me over the years

Lately I’ve come to prefer the rectangular ones. I don’t really like the way the round ones interrupt the horizontal lines of the hood and grille.

Maybe I just don’t know how to contact people on Craigslist. Of the dozen or so times I’ve contacted people about vehicles there, I’ve had about 50% response from phone numbers versus 0% from Craigslist email. I’ve been contacted via Craigslist mail when selling there, so I know it works. Oh well.
