And in perfect condition no less. 26k miles. A good detail and you would think it's fresh off the showroom floor. I'm supposed to work on it today but I went home sick. It's color is how I feel today.

I am surprised these haven’t appreciated more, given how other cars of the era can perform on the market, and BaT syndrome.
These have a skill for racking up the miles too, I have seen numerou s 500E/ E500 over 200K. Years ago at a local event, an older woman showed up in one, and the car was towing an old tractor. I’ll have to dig out the pics.

I’m not sure where you’ve been looking, put prices on these have gone absolutely bonkers in the last 12-24 months. They’re still not awful deals a lot of the time, but prices have nigh on doubled in the last two years.

Indeed, and that’s still cheap for their rarity and original price. When Supras fly into 6 figures and so many fairly unremarkable Porsches are apparently made of platinum, these seem cheap.

Forgot to post it, here’s that tractor towing 500E:
The 60-70 looking woman in the hat was the owner/driver. Pic is from around 10 years ago:

She’s cooler than everyone and she knows it. But is also wondering where she can get something to drink.
