Amazing band, amazing guitar, amazing player, and I'm unhappy that this solo didn't make it onto the album

Nothing noteworthy on the Miata front. Still soldiers along admirably, but it’s just not the same after driving a legitimately fast car for months. I miss boost and 3rd gear tire spinning
Within the next few years the Miata w ill probably transition to solely snow/rally driving

Woah, why is his fretboard like that?

Idk, there’s still definitely something special about the way a Miata drives. It’s just so much simpler. Power delivery is smoother being naturally aspirated as well. I at least have not tired of the Miata daily life even with being used to my STi now with double the power. Long drives are totally ruined in the Miata but I still find it to be a treat to drive to work or simply go get groceries in the car.

Fanned fret Ormsby guitar. Each string has its own scale length to address the inherent intonation problems with a standard guitar fretboard. I played one at NAMM and fell in love...

Problem is mine is setup for snow, but that’s months gone. It would take a fair bit of work/money to get it back to the (admittedly awesome) canyon carver it once was

W ow, hadn’t heard the name Ormsby since he used to put his builds on ultimat e-guitar! Loved his build threads.
