That reminds me of one of my favorites. That third panel is absolutely perfect.

This is my absolute favorite Calvin and Hobbes strip. Hands down.

You’re right, that third panel is what sells it. Perfection.

Flight simulators are merely the advanced version of what Calvin’s doing, prove me wrong...

That’s frigging hilarious. I would imagine there are some third world airports that aren’t that far from that.

That guy’s whole youtube channel is that. Low-key goofing off and multiplayer misconduct in flight sim land.

I’ve seen some of the other videos. They’re hilarious.

I have the 10th Anniversary book sitting on my coffee table right now. I just finished thumbing through it again the other day and my son said “ dad, you know you have more of these downstairs, right?” Oh yes, I know. Time to rotate and bring a different one upstairs.
I love Calvin and Hobbes.

I started reading C&H in the 80s when I was in college. At the time, I figured that W atterson must have had a kid of his own that age. Now that I’m a parent of three boys, I know exactly where he gets his material from.

Interestingly enough, in the 10th Anniversary book, he says he doesn’t have kids. The book is an interesting read, and I like some of the insights he gives to some of the specific strips.
