maybe i’m getting old, or maybe supercars aren’t just as cool as they used to be? i’m finding it harder and harder to get excited about them these days.

I think that it works... maybe I misheard the price but £ 170k is not a bad price for such a car... plus the packaging is pretty interesting

You know the world has gone all wonky when a super car looks more like a Camry than the actual current Camry.
That said I like the subtle styling, maybe that style will trickle back down to normal cars

Meh. I’m sure I’ll see quite a few running around here, though. But I’ll probably confuse it for one of the other McLarens that have identical styling and a naming convention I have yet to figure out. I’m sure it will be extraordinarily fast with enough computing power to safely transport a petting zoo to mars and back, just like the rest of them. Also, (without watching the video) I assume it uses the same 3.x TT V8 and a carbon fiber tub, like the rest of them.
I don’t know how, but McLaren has figured out a way to make me bored and uninterested in what is surely a fantastic supercar.

I think I would take it over a DB11 if I was in the position to buy one. But I’d be kind of worried about servicing... since the DB11 could be sent to a Mercedes dealer basically, and this...can’t-

I don’t know what *new* car I would get. Probably a Lusso or F8 if the pricing was similar (since I’m a fanboi) . The new Aston is pretty, but seems almost too good . An Aston should have some flaws/quirks lol

I’m kinda meh about it. Doesn’t really get my blood flowing like some other cars. Idk, maybe I don’t get the point of a “GT” car when most will be driven < 2000k a year and where people with actual track weapons take them on roadtrips/rallys/such.
However it’ll start right at 200k and that’s the cheapest way to get into a 720 series car.
