It's more fun to shoot them.

Interesting video and I especially like that vacuum chuck that’s no t something I’ve seen before.
I could have done without the cacophonous jam-band soundtrack though. Randomly smashing cymbals and drums while playing an unrelated needly needly guitar riff isn’t not my taste.

Bowling ball weights inside are all different shapes to get the balls to curve when they’re thrown. That was cool.

And you are not reciprocating with an appropriate YouTube link?

I did not hear the soundtrack, but as you describe it, it sounds pretty a nnoying.

Ban him for that. Why should I have to search myself ? :)

If you find yourself with several seconds to spare, you could listen at just about the 2.5 minute mark and I think you’d get a feel for the whole video’s musical contributions.

That is pretty cool, but putting it on the lathe and turning it into dust/ fumes without knowing what it’s made of seems foolish. The end product still turned out great though.

Well I went looking but bowling ball canon looks more fun.
7.62 would shatter the cheap rental balls. Back in the day.

BRB shopping for some cheap bowling balls and a cannon

I remember seeing something about bowling balls, probably How It’s Made, and I remember the little dumbbells for weights, but lucky for our guy, they’re nonmetalic. I did not hear the audio, but perhaps he said something about confirming somehow that there was no metal.

I don’t think he ever quite figured out what they were made of.

I was thinking there must be some interesting smells associated with that project.

That’s pretty cool, both the process and the result . This seems like a worthy variation of the appeal behind the hydraulic press channel in YT.

I hit one with a 1oz slug an d that did the trick. They’re definitely poison inside.

Yeah. It rose to the level of a curiosity for me, not a fascination.

At the risk of sounding arrogant... That video amounted to a curiosity for me, not a fascination . I think lathes, hydraulic presses and D amascus steel are all overwrought on YouTube.

I have a bowling ball. And a lathe.
