Hard to tell on my shit phone but that thing looks awfully clean for $2k.

Wonder what the minor issues are but nice price.

np all day...wheels could bring almost half that if they are clean. Car looks right though, and the big six I’ve seen go 750k plus on the original internals.

It’d be a few bucks to make it a right car mechanically , but it’s a good one to start with...especially for the asking price.

NP, but the long wheelbase is something like 400lbs heavier than the short wheelbase. I love the M30, but that’s a fair amount of car for it to haul around. Watch for signs of a leaning head gasket, the E32s had a different and finickier cooling system than E28s or E34s, so M30s in E32s wind up with bad head gaskets more often than M30s usually do. I know it’s just an anecdote, but a friend of mine has had 2 735is, and they both wound up with bad HGs. All just down to how well they’ve been maintained. Personally I’d go for a 740i, but that’s because I’ve had one and now I’m spoiled. The M30 should feel like enough power if you haven’t driven a 540 or a 740. Oh yeah watch for drivetrain vibrations, the steady bearings on the driveshaft go. The power seats sometimes have issues, and the SLS is an expensive  pain in the ass if it breaks, the long wheelbase cars are more likely to have it, the shorts usually have normal rear suspension. That’s all I can think of at the moment

Of course but for $2k it’s a great deal if you have the wherewithal to deal with maintenance and repairs on it!

My friend had one of these, we drove it cross-country, and all over the place. I loved that car.
