So after we move comes the awkward task of finding new things... Anyone in the north Portland or Vancouver area have any ideas about something for the following:
Doctor, particularly one familiar with thyroid issues given two family members are on sy nthroid.
Vet, particularly for cats.
Independent mechanic, we got three mid 2000s Dodges and a 2014 expedition.
For your time:

Leaving Virginia on the 11th. Nice thing about having lived in Virginia for five years is that I can say I'm from Virginia instead of telling them I'm one of those assholes from California.

Live in Vancouver, so no income tax. Drive 10 miles and s hop in Portland where there’s no sales tax. I would imagine you’d find the doctors you need @ OHSU

The vet I bring Ravna to (and me & my ex took her cat to) is Northwest Neighborhood Veterinary Hospital, specifically Dr. Becky Pruhl. She is extremely good (she does surgeries at about twice the pace of most vet doctors and vets come from all over to watch her work), but it is in the fancy part of town and priced accordingly (though that does mean it’s closer to Vancouver).
