Oh what a day

Was working last night, but had said I’d wash a neighbour’s Mini Clubman. Half way through washing and drying it I was reminded by my step-father it’s his birthday today (not next weekend like I thought), it’s also my mother’s birthday (she was exactly one year younger than my step-father, so it hurts more that I forgot which weekend it was) and we’d agreed to go out for a meal as a family.

So I’m here waiting on the others with a pint of Guinness and a large Jameson.

And I'm back at work tonight.

Ever had any drunken mishaps while detailing? Or woke up the next morning a shipment of detailing stuff arrives but don’t remember ordering them ? lol

No drunken mishaps. It does take a lot for me to get drunk anyway.

Even when I order stuff sober, it's like Christmas when I get them. But as I say, it takes a lot for me to get drunk, even as I get older, I tend to get tired and sleepy before I get drunk. So there's no risk of me ordering anything when drunk. Lol.

My sister is special needs and was talking about what she’d be doing in heaven, etc.... So that was hard to listen to.

But not too bad a day really.
