My MR2 started right up this morning (as it has for the past 2+ years) so it was already a good day as soon as it began.
I’ve been driving with no shift boot for a while, and I finally ran into a problem with an open shift linkage:
Last night I managed to drop my $30 thrift-shopped Ray Bans into the shifter assembly. Somehow, I guess I drove all the way home not realizing I was shifting with a pair of polarized lenses. Found them this morning all bent :P

Finished building my Lego rally car from a while back, just chillaxin’ right now. And still contemplating getting that gun and go play some IPSC. Or building that PC that I wanted from 2 years ago but with absolutely no need.

The good is that i t’s Friday, but I found out the part that was supposed to be here today won’t be here until Monday because of “bad weather”. The weather between where I am and where the part is currently at is 72 and sunny. Fucking FedEx. So that’s another beautiful weekend without the Camaro up and going. Anyway, like I said it’s going to be a beautiful weekend so I can at least enjoy that.

My wife had to go to the doctor and she’s not having a great time with her ailment.
My allergies are annoying.
I’m going to a baby shower tomorrow night and I honestly have zero desire to go to. I would rather watch paint dry in the comfort of my own home. I feel bad for saying it because the expectants are wonderful people, but... iiiiiiiiiiiii dooooooooooooooooon’t carrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre
I won’t even mention work because that’s enough for now.

Yeah that’s the thinking. I’ve had numerous reasons to wait, including waiting for RAM to drop to reasonable levels. But the primary reason is I don’t really need it. The only game I seldomly play now is Watch_Dogs 2, and I did a test the other day I’m only a wee bit GPU bound at ultra settings on my current PC.
Only reason I want one is to switch to a smaller ITX build so it fits under my desk better.

Pretty good. Just did 300+ miles of driving doing some out of town pickups, and I’m about to do 200 more to get back. It’s been relaxing today compared to the rest of my week, which has thoroughly kicked my ass . I have some beer waiting for me at home and I'm really looking forward to drinking it tonight.

It probably would have helped to speed things up if they hadn’t routed a package from Nebraska to the eastern part of the state of Washington through New Mexico. Or maybe when it was in Idaho they could have vectored it north instead of sending it west to the coast of Oregon and then having to send it back east and north .
