I love these. Early C3 prices have been dropping significantly the last few yea rs , I can see these slowly declining as well.

These are my absolute favorite corvette. I would love to restomod one. Someday maybe. $49k is getting a bit more reasonable, but still pricey.

The muscle era cars are all going to start going down in value over the next decade or so until they level out in the $20k-$40k range for a really nice example. Boomers are aging and there is no nostalgia factor for the nex t generations.

With this you’d also have to factor in getting it off the island.

The C3 is my favorite body style if I’m honest.

I am very excited for when this happens.
Prices on some cars have already eased a bit from nosebleed levels, but they have further to go IMHO.

I would disagree. We Xers, at least the oldest ones, grew up when new cars were pretty crappy so we grew a love of the older cars of the 60s and early 70s. Now I don’t think we have much attraction to cars of the 50s so I think they will sink.

I love me some late, super trashy, stereotypical 80's C3. So good. mmmm

I love C2s, and love the color combo on this car, but base engine + powerglide + ocean freight = crack pipe.

Ya, thats what I’m saying. C3s have been dropping, C2s are next.

True, but I don’t think the Xers will be enough to support prices as they have been lately. Plus, it’s mostly the American cars that were junk from the 70s and 80s, there’s still a lot of good stuff from the era that is already starting to appreciate from what I’ve seen.

C3s were my favorite growing up, but the C2s are probably my favorite now and I adore the 56-57 s now too . If I had to pick a vette it would be a toss up between a 57 and a 64.

I am very much one of those Xers you describe.
There are enough of us that you won’t be able to buy a numbers matching tri power 65 GTO for $5k any time soon, but the prices will fall because there are fewer of us.

Is it wrong that I like the boxy C4?
