One of the dogs is about to be disappointed that I’m going to be now. I maintain a strict one doggo limit to sleeping on the bed with me.
As expected, as soon as I told them that I’m going get to bed the Head of Household S ecurity vacated my spot. She’ll snooze on the dog bed in the room until I fall asleep. She’ll then sleep on the bed in the guest bedroom most of the night until s he comes back in the room about about an hour before I get up.

My dog is currently and pointedly ignoring her bed (which she ordinarily likes) in favor of the floor as a form of protest that I kicked her off the people bed. She will climb onto one bed or the other, wisely staying off my feet, as soon as I am asleep. Dogs can be passive- aggressive drama queens at times. ( please excuse the moving/unpacking mess)
