Ouch. Think of all the unsprung weight they could reduce by just leaving out the magnets...

All located in the sidewalls. If I would put one nail in the road, I never would have accomplished such a perfect shot in a 100 years.....

You are right. I was thinking it is time anyway. Tires have about 5 years and at least 40,000 miles. I use this van for towing the race car trailer so I don’t want to chance it. Goodyear assurance mud and snow, 98H are a really good tire. Great tread wear, traction, and handle well. $140 off a set of 4 at sams club this saturday.....

Agreed and I replaced all four on Friday. These tires are on my race car trailer towing minivan. They were a bout 5 years old with 35000 miles. Many of the miles were pulling 4000 pound trailer with 200 pounds of gear at 75 mph   .

I make them work hard. I would rather replace them 2 years too early than too late. PS. they are Good Year Assurance 98H. They wear like iron and are quiet and work very well in snow. The also handle remarkably well.

I just bought tires for my tent trailer. Carlisle, recommended by another Op.
