all but destroyed a warehouse containing a self-storage location as well as several other businesses in Etna, just north of Pittsburgh PA on 5/8.
There were storage units on the ground floor of the block-long warehouse for things like household goods and construction materials. The second floor, which partially collapsed, housed as many as 150 or more vehicles, including motorcycles and every size and make of car imaginable, some classics, others antiques.Pour
Included in the rubble are the remains of several classic and rare car collections, including a 1971 Cutlass convertible, a
Mustang Mach 1 and a Ferrari. The damage could reach sixty million dollars.
According to the Allegheny County Department of Emergency Services, the fire started on the first floor of the building. A man was working on a motorcycle when it caught fire.
Several firefighters were treated for shortness of breath and burns, but there were no serious injuries.
