It mainlines Monster Energy during the week and double-fists Four Lo ko s on weekends. It’s like a road-legal keg stand. The suspension is incredibly firm in N mode , the exhaust pops are wonderfully antisocial , the shift lights are wicked awesome, the diff is magic, the stereo bumps, the steering actually communicates and there’s just enough torque steer to be fun without being tiresome. It’s not as good as a Civic Type R and it’s not as refined as a GTI but it is an absolute riot. I can’t wait for depreciation to set in and long-term reliability reports to come out. Finally a Hyundai I actually want to own.
