Luckily I snagged a state subsidized course for $125 instead of the full $260. I’m guessing all subsidized spots will be full for the summer within.... A week? Maybe two?
Anyhoo, I’ve got a month to wait. A H ypermotard is a reasonable second bike, right?

For a hyper
to be your 2nd string
bike- you must have a fucking amazing first one...!

Haha no I mean second bike I’ve ever owned. I had a 300cc ninja in high school, but after 6 months sold it because I I was taking way too many risks.
7 years later and presumably more level-headed, I’m ready for something a bit more interesting

Have fun. I enjoyed the course. Never bought a bike but happy to have the training and license. Anytime someone says they want a bike, I suggest the training. Way better than learning on the street.

Ohhhhh I like that Honda. Are these awesome 80's/90's bikes with the amazing graphics factory or just things that owners did?

Getting random licenses and certifications has kind of been my thing this past month. I'm guessing the rider course will be the most enjoyable though!

Awesome! Now you can go get a new sportbike with a 72 month loan , do a few track days, spend a few $k on converting it to a track bike, $2,500 for YCRS school (all on credit cards), then get a diesel truck with a 96 month loan and a toy hauler with a 180 month loan.
Motorcycles are fun!

okay that’s good but I also want this. Oh and I put every single cent on credit cards already and would sooner tear off a Fingernail than do it any other way

Some were factory, some were aftermarket. It looks like you can still get some of the old plastics though.
edit: damn Kinja. I had more pics that won’t load.

Which firm is instructing it? I recall when I did mine ages ago, it was hotter than hell, which made being in a helmet for hours pretty memorable.
You’ll have fun though, the additional course is also worth it.
I also like the hypermotard, but every day I drive in Bellevue has me wanting to get back on 2 wheels a little less.

Evergreen motorcycle training, totem lake. I hope it's under 80, June 10th gives me about a 50/50 shot?
Although I’d take heat over rain

Cool, that’s who I did it through, I think they were called “Evergreen Safety” or something then, but it was some time ago. You might be stuck in June gloom then, 62F and cloudy - hope for that.
You’ll have fun either way.

Gotcha— well, a hyper would certainly be more interesting.
Those things look so dope.
