That’s pretty sweet!

That would make a pretty sweet muscle truck if you found a RWD one

Damn, if I’d have known that, I’d have... tried to get my Dad to lease one? I was 16 when the current gen came out so I couldn’t have gotten one.

or you could just drive around in 2H all the time?

Added weight and harder to lower. I think it would look really good lowered a couple inches.

My dad is looking to get rid of his 6.0l Ford diesel and go to a half ton with a gas engine. This is one of the options, though harder to find than hemi powered Rams. Right now the only one close to him is a 2013 that they want $28k for with 55k miles . It’s a little “fancy” on the inside for him so I doubt that he’ll go for it.

oh man if that was any other color than white itd be right up my alley

Shitty Chinese after-market wheels on a $28K truck. Hard pass.

I’ll guarantee that the dealer put those and the tires on it to try to pump up the price. They’re infamous for their brodozers.

Wouldn’t be surprised, those things are practically free on the supply-side. As cheap as they are, the markup on them is still outrageous. Dealer throws them on for next to nothing and gets a good deal on those BFGs as well
I’m sure. Tack an extra $3K+ onto the asking price, pocket an easy extra couple grand on the sale.
Your old man is better off finding an honest, all-original
truck. Worth spending a little more time looking around.

That’s correct but the Raptor technically comes with the High Output version of the 6.2 which is rated at 411 HP where the “normal” 6.2 is high 300’s. Still a great find in a F150.

Yeah, he wouldn’t have paid anywhere near that asking price even if he would have liked the truck. He may have even made them put the stock wheels back on. That’s just the only big engined F150 advertised within 100 miles.

Not my truck. He’s not going to listen to some young whipper snapper who’s only 50 years old! That’s practically a teenager.

Haha! Ahh well, happy hunting!

Yes, Lariat was the cheapest trim you could get it in, 6.2 also available in Limited, Harley Davidson, and Platinum. I personally would love to have 6.2 Lariat SuperCab with a front bench seat.

The place I work at has a 2012 F-250 with the 6.2. The engine is the only thing I enjoy about that truck. God the seats are terrible and so is the ride. It will pull like nobody's business but it's uncomfortable.

yep - my neighbor across the street had a pretty dark blue one for a while. It sounded awesome. But he traded it in on an Edge Sport a few years ago to get better gas mileage I think... He had a really nice Harley Davidson in the same color - it was neat when he had them parked out in the driveway all color matched.
