Keep it 200(k), Oppo
Don’t mind the dust. Car needs a bath because I park by some trees and I keep my windows cracked
My family bought the car on 6/3/06 with 8 miles on the ODO. The car is on the original clutch, in part, because I drive like a grandma. I have a lot of memories in this car. It took me to college, moved across the country in it, visited the 3 US coasts (Gulf, East, Best), etc. It has been great to me.
Happy Wednesday!

Nice work by you & your fam.
One of the only things I dislike about buying well-used cars is that odometer milestones don’t feel very meaningful.

I love the paint jobs you give your old vehicles. Plum crazy and white?

Yep. I wanted something old school, then I found pictures of my uncle’s old race car, which was painted just like that, and decided that was the right choice.
I rolled 200k on the original driveline. I swapped the cluster ( which had 111k ) when I swapped to a manual, drove that to 205k. The I swapped the cluster ( which had 135k ) again when I dropped in the built motor/trans and drove it to 225k.

Thank you. I have been in charge of maintenance since day one so I’m pretty happy that the car is running well haha
I agree on the well used cars. Both my Miatas had over 100k when I got them so I didn’t care as much.
