I’ve seen many big user-facing changes in software & websites like this. I’ve been on the other side of a few of them. People always complain. In general, people will complain whenever anything changes. Complaining isn’t going to change anything. As an advertising-driven media company, the only thing that will change their minds is seeing their engagement metrics go down, which means less money.

I think they’d revert the layout change, which is easy to do , before they’d shut the whole thing down and lose all the moneys.
