The pre-Kinja commenting system was great and I still miss it. Sure, we didn’t have reply notifications (which are nice) but everything else was better. I remember when they introduced Kinja and talked about “Web 2.0" — IMHO, not everything needs to be a quasi-social media site. If you want that, you can use social media instead.

Don’t understand how they have all these resources to screw Kinja up daily, but can’t fix the damn issue where you paste an image and it’ll show up TWICE.

I wish they would bring back the star post feature instead of the current save feature.

Agreed. Not sure what saving is all about. I’m not going to go back and look at it again and again. I’m just telling you that I thought what you did was cool but without having to make a comment. It’s a good system. Maybe have both star and save? That would actually be useful functionality.

They actually had that a little more than a year ago for about 3 weeks.  In my best Morgan Freeman voice, why they got rid of it I do not know.
