These are way up high on my list to import to the US when:
A) I get the money and space.
B) They turn 25. Especially the 2nd facelifted batch, which came out in 2003, I believe.
Also on my list, in no particular order :
2005 -10 Alfa Romeo 147 2.0L TwinSpark. Maybe a GTA, but I like the look of the standard facelifted car much better .
2003-05 Alfa Romeo GTV or Spider 3.2 V6
1999 -06 Lancia Lybra 5-cylinder sedan or wagon
1999-2003 Fiat Multipla
2000-03 Lancia Y Elefantino Rosso
2005-10 Alfa Romeo Brera

Probably my favorite modern roadster, even if FWD....really want to own one someday!

Yeah, it’s not like they’re fast enough that the driven wheels matter all that much.

Well, I’m about a year away from home ownership and 2 years from finishing grad school. So that whole needing the money and space thing is an issue for anything that’s 25+ years old now.
There aren’t really any European cars from 1985-94 that I’m crazy enough about that weren’t available in the US. Ma ybe a MkV or VI Mini. Stuff like the Delta Integrale and 205GTi are tough to find stock, or are quite expensive due to demand. I like the Toyota Sera and Honda Beat a lot, though.
Also, I forgot to list that I also want to import a Daihatsu Copen, mid-cycle Twingo, or Avantime, as well . Maybe I’ll get the chance someday when my life is ready for one.
