I have a couple sets of motorcycle exhausts to sell, but nobody local seems to want them. So.... how the hell do I ship something so bulky and heavy? Bubble wrap out the wazoo?

Lots of bubble wrap, and ship via Greyhound.

Melt them. Ship a chunk of metal. Have the recipient melt them again and form motorcycle exhausts out of them.

Get a bunch of USPS flat rate boxes. Glue them together big enough to fit the exhaust into. Bring to USPS. Tell them it fit.
If it fits, it ships

You could always put it in a crate and freight it, but that can get expensive quickly.

I just shipped an exhaust for a BRZ i just sold. Giant box + bubble wrap + UPS or Fedex. Dallas to Seattle only cost ~$60 to ship

I don’t think they care what you ship and they have a fantastic deal with fedex ground.

Go to a private shi pping company, usually located in an industrial park somewhere. If you can’t find any on your own, go to a UPS hub (not a store, but where the stuff gets shipped out) and ask them whose close by, they’ll know. You can get custom packaging made and they’ll charge you a discounted Corp shipping rate.

Not gonna lie. First thought when I read this was, “how can I ship motorcycle farts?”

I just had an entire PWC engine delivered through fedex and the old one sent back through fedex. Was no problem. they packaged it though and I repurposed their packaging. It was around 60 pounds. I think it was 70 bucks each way for 3 day shipping

I got mine in a lot of bubble wrap, couple of big ass boxes taped together over it. Barely fit in my car.
