My sister needs to learn how to drive.
“Oh, please, lets go pick up my friend: she’s drunk and heading to her Ex’s house. I know it was me who got her drunk...and it was me who got her thinking about it. But now I’ve got second thoughts about letting that mess happen and I’m too chickenshit to drive”
Jesus, woke me up at 4:55 -.-

I think I saw him in the split second between peacefully asleep and the beginning of the sudden burst of noise that flooded my room when my sister knocked on the door as if the damn apartment was on fire

To quote Dr. Evil, you should have told her:

“No.”
*Slams door, locks it, goes back to sleep*

If your sister could drive, she might be dead by now.
How much are driving lessons in Mexico?
![]() 05/05/2019 at 09:14 |

What do you mean “she might be dead?”
The lessons she already took were 60 dollars.

Weird shit happens when you drive and drive...or drive whilst stressed. You may have saved her life.
Driving lessons are cheaper in Mexico.

You should have take her on the bike just for making fun of you about the rain a few days ago.

She didn’t want to drive because her only options were my parent’s huge SUVs.... she’s afraid of parking. She took lessons a couple of years ago to get her permit (ironically, to get the license you don’t need no-courses) but she barely drives anyway and it’s super annoying because she makes us ferry her everywhere.
She’s an adult now and has her license... but still

As much as I would’ve liked that... we would’ve been unable to beat the horny-friend’s uber to her ex’s house

Unrelated but that's a really nice looking dash. So crisp. And I like that the arcs on the middle screen match those on the rpm gauge to make a full circle.

Unfortunately it’s not an OLED display, so you can see where the display begins and ends with how ridiculously bright it is. If it was OLED, black would mean ‘totally off’.
More OLEDs in cars pls.

Im thinking he had the right of first refusal

Analog / mechanical dials on dashes are going to be a thing of the past. Eventually we’ll have 100% oled displays maybe with some trim rings simulating physical dials - but in reality it'll just be one big screen.

I like the idea of halfway-house styled gauges, where the back is digital (e.g. allowing for kmh/mph swapping on the fly,) but there’s still a needle involved. Maybe ‘floating’ style needles would work best with this system as you could modify the central hub to have a circular display to show anything else.

Jesus also woke me up at 4:55, but it was with a lawn mower.

Automakers need to start using AMOLED displays in their dashboards. Only illuminate the pixels in use instead of having a giant gray rectangle.

Yes... ir would be nice specially since it was practically blinding me... damn thing has too high a brightness

Hmm, one of the benefits of living in an apartment is that Jesus can only enter during business hours.
