Casey’s about to do his first ever productive, will-actually-save-me-paying-someone job, spreading 20 cubes of topsoil in my orchard-to-be, and he’s wet the bed.
Rusted out connector failed. And it’s Sunday so I can’t get a new hose made up till next week.
Oh well, the driveway contractor’ s in this week and he’ll have a digger: maybe I’ll just pay him to scatter the topsoil and dig out the contaminated earth . It’ll probably only take someone who know their job half an hour

Was that hydraulic fluid? Because then that dirt is dead forever. I worked on a golf course grounds crew in high school and a tractor lost a hydraulic line. You could see the line of dead grass through the fairway a year later where it just refused to grow back.

Yup, that dirt will need to be scooped out and disposed of.
