Miami Air charter flight from Gitmo to Jacksonville overran the runway in bad weather
and ended up in the river about 90 minutes ago
. All are well, but two pilots are probably looking for new employment.

Charter airlines were a mistake.
I’ll enjoy the Hulu original film starring Jeremy Renner

L ooks like they got away with “two minor injuries” - pretty f’n damn lucky for dunking a 737 in a river.

Boeing ships 737 fuselages from Wichita to Renton for final assembly. It was a derailment.

Pretty soon you’re gonna have to do a swim test after airport security if this keeps up.

Back in 2014 a train carrying fuselages from Kansas, where they’re manufactured, to Seattle, where final assembly takes place, der ailed.
Here are a few in better condition.

N
o assembly required might be more accurate
given the backlog of Maxes at the Seattle airports

The flight was out of gitmo.
The other 100 people that drowned had already been disappeared.

Looking forward to the accident report on this one. I thought I might have photographed this a/c in Austin back in 2017. Alas, I was off by one number. The a/c that crashed was N732MA, and I photographed N733MA.

I suspect this one will fly again, given it’s shallow freshwater. You’ll get your chance.

Maybe. This is the only time I’ve ever seen Miami Air at Austin in all the years I’ve been shooting there.
