The Triumph Bonneville Bobber is without a doubt in my mind the best looking bike on sale today.
Ho
w does a completely factory stock bike look *that* good?!?!
I also, the Triumph Tiger 1200 is pretty handsome in a completely different way.
On an unrelated note, I drove the Miata with the top down for the first time in months... and it’s just the best. Winding that little 1.6 out and banging gears around town is so hilariously rewarding. Also, without the hardtop on the engine drone/resonance is so much quieter.

The bobber is pretty cool, but it and every bike that looks similar to it is sooooo heavy.

Buying a bobber from a manufacturer...right.

I mean... it’s awfully handsome and properly engineered, so I won’t hate on it.

550lbs wet certainly isn’t light, but it could be much worse.

An awfully handsome and properly engineered bobber...right.
For those of us who build our own bikes, this type of stuff is no different than the OCC chopper craze of the early ‘00s. Dude’s just transitioned from Ed Hardy jeans to fitted Levi’s.

I can’t until I have a garage to park things in.

I love factory bikes that look custom or that have a nice retro throwback feel to them. Sometimes I don’t want to customize things to my liking for fear of getting it wrong (I have a sordid history of project cars that’s littered with expensive regrets) and just want something that looks right and comes with a warranty.
My old favorite in this category is the Honda GB500. I’m still kicking myself for not buying one when I had the opportunity. So beautiful. Retro done right, right down to the paint color (I may repaint my car in t hat green...)

As Peter said, I have 2 cars and a bike, and I walk to work. The Miata and XSR900 live in a private parking garage across the street from my office, and my Trans Am has to sit in my apartment parking lot. No more vehicles until I have a garage.
