My only reservation is that it's a vehicle that would be better to ride in than drive. If someone else was going to be doing the driving I'd love to kick back and relax in it.

When I think of Buick, this is what I think of:

The Sedona will probably last longer.
I'm totally flaccid for passenger-focused vehicles.

It is still a GM product so I am imagining pretty but terrible to touch interior materials.

The roofline reminds me of the old Armada.

I hate the c-pillar treatment, but I do think there should be more minivans.

A fully loaded Odyssey costs $50k new. This will be 55 or even 60K easy.

It doesn’t matter because I would never buy an Odyssey at any price.

In fact the Avenir trim has really nice interior materials in the vehicles I have experienced. It feels quite premium.

I think that is a given for a minivan. That said, a powerful enough engine and matching transmission is important.

Nicely organized garage.

Possibly.
And thanks for that.

Put a Chevrolet badge on it, make it less of a “luxury car”, and call it the Uplander (or the Venture, or the Lumina APV if they’re feeling REALLY out there) . Boom. They’ll sell at least 5.

You stop talking that way about my luxury minivan!
