Or, if they didn’t have the wheels, it might just be a decent boat. With 115hp it would have no trouble getting up on plane and going maybe 30 (educated guess?) with that engine and hull. But no, they hung those tires off the side creating massive, massive drag instead. A 15hp motor would do about the same.

Seriously, if it wasn’t for those tires it might have made an OK boat. But with all that drag, the 115hp is just a waste. 15-25hp would have been fine for that barge.
But at least they made the inside comfortable for a bunch of people to hang out and drink beer, Right? RIGHT?! Oh.
*sad trombone*

At that point it just put the body on top of a pontoon...the wheels are immensely stupid

It took me a while to decide that the grill really was a Chevy and not a Ford because they are so close in design from that era.

this is truly fashionoverfunction

I was thinking exactly that! Or even, why such a small boat? a 14'6" Glastron? That’s pretty damn small. I actually wonder , without the wheels hanging down there, if it would just tip over. A whole truck body is kind of a lot of weight to put ON TOP of a small boat like that.

Well that is definitely the most um, unique we’ll say, design for a hub....
