On top of everything else, my old friend !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! challenged me to the next Sketch Battle, in Detroit. He’s obligated to defend his title. Told me I need to compete at the next one. So I’ve got a little extra time for (re-)training.

I can’t say that I’m at fighting weight, currently. I used to be able to draw. Now... not so much. Here’s a timed (30 min) sketch while I was trying to figure out whether my internet outage was my fault, or my provider’s. (not mine, it turns out)

I think it’s an electric Kia S-Class type coupe.

Y’all have always been the best sketch topic suggesters, and if I’m going to have to compete in Detroit against the current title-belt-holder... I need some workouts. On top of that, I’m gonna need to up my t-shirt game. Because DETROIT HUSTLES HARDER... how the fuck do I compete with that. My phone # is, and will forever be 313, despite the fact that I grew up in the rural 216.

If any of y’all want to contribute ideas and crit, and if I’m gonna pony up the $ to go to the next sketch battle, and draw and compete in front of an audience, then I need to train up. Feel free to help me out. I welcome your input.

Try a Crown Vic sedan upgraded with the aesthetics of the modern bro trucks, but retaining the fantastic all around visibility for the driver.

I just saw an N yesterday morning (passing by) for the first time. Hyundai is kind of a stylistic mystery to me. Definitely worth giving that one a go.
