I’ve been looking for an s2000 for the last few months and after a lot of back and forth on whether to buy or not I finally went for it. Bought from a fellow car enthusiast and has been cared for very well. It’s a 2005, Sebring Silver with black/red imterior, 106k miles. I was looking for one with a bit less miles but it is in such good shape that I didn’t mind. Still has the original owners manuals and both sets of keys. The seller was located in Atlanta and it was a LONG 9.5 hour drive back to Miami. The car is fantastic but the amount of in cabin noise when cruising between 75-90 is high and is deafening after that long of a drive. It’s turning 4500 RPM at 75-80 mph. Still averaged 28 mpg for the trip so not too bad.
It currently has Ohlins DFV coilovers which ride fantastic so far. Haven’t been able to fully test them out though, can’t wait to see how they perform.

Clean! I always liked those! The first one I ever got to drive was boosted though, so I am immediately jaded if I ever find my way into a stock one.

Nice! Looks really sharp. I got to thoroughly check out a ap1 a friend bought long ago. Loved that thing. Enjoy it but it will be hard not too!

With collector cars of that age, ownership and maintenance history matter more than miles. Looks fantastic.

I’m curious to see what it’s like driving a boosted one.

Absolutely. I've come across so many in the months I was searching but this one stood out. Communication with the seller couldn't have been better.

I’ve got Ohlins DFV coilovers on my Miata, they’re pretty much the best you can buy. Excellent performance but a better ride than stock. Beautiful S2000, get it out to an autocross soon!!

For sure, I was cross shopping an NC Miata Club with the S2000 but as you can see, I went with the Honda. I told myself that whatever I buy I’m going to get a set of DFV’s add I've heard nothing but good things. They're great so far but can't wait to push them.

Imagine being the guy at Honda who said “you know, let’s cut the S2000". Insanity. What a beautiful car

Gorgeous AP 2! The bumper lip looks really good too. I recently joined the club with an AP1 and I can relate to the highway speed buzz. Drones around 4,000rpm and the previous owner swapped on a single Berk exhaust that has likely resulted in permanent hearing loss.
Any plans to track yours? I did recently and it totally changed my opinion of the car. Really liked it before... LOVE it now. Also these cars do great with higher speed open lapping events too - not just autocross queens .

Thanks! Yeah it really is a special car. I actually want to do open track more than auto-x. Since the car doesn’t have a a huge amount of power it’s all about keeping your momentum on track. I don't plan on doing anything to the engine. It already has the coilovers so I'll see how it does when I take it. I can decide what I want to improve and go from there
