My last car has a check engine light thanks to a clogged emissions system. I removed that light bulb.
My current car has a tpms light that stays on because one of the sensors died. I’m debating doing the same thing as the display gives me tpms warnings anyhow

Mines been due to the thermostat not reaching normal temps in time. I think it's the water pump. It's never over heated but will take 20 mins to get to normal operating temp or blow hot air. The timing chain is due soon which is part of the water pump replacement so we'll see.

Sounds more like the thermostat is just stuck open to me.

Mine has been on for 2 months. I don’t want to replace the O2 sensor. I just replaced it last year. I think something else is up too.

But sometimes it reaches temps in normal time. Either way the passenger side of the engine has to come off basically to fix either.

I don’t have a check engine, but this god damn thing:
Stupid emissions check light that comes on at 60k miles. Only way to turn it off is go take it to the dealer. Need to pull the dash apart once I get my van fixed.......
