the Maxell and Memorex ones are so, so familiar... Had a few Certron, Fuji and SCOTCH as well... but they missed BASF

Amazing to think of how many brands there were,  all trying to outdo one another about how great the quality was. Truth was VHS was pretty bad and apart from maybe durability there was miniscule difference between brands.

I’m reasonably certain I had one of each of those brands . I remember them all. I taped so many hours of SNL and wrestling and Star Trek: the Ne xt Generation.  

In addition, my dad had a Betamax so I had a bunch of those as well.
