I’m no tire expert, but I suspect that these are probably not optimal for my fairly boring old Volvo sedan in a cold, wet climate (I have Pilot Sport A/S 3+s on the car now, and am pretty happy with them ) . I’d lean towards the ones on the left though.

eh... put the ones on the right on and go out in the rain and im pretty sure your volvo wont be boring
(but im a cyclist whos too cool for mudguards so i buy tires that give the least amount of spray.... slicks give all the spray certain patterns of knobbed give hardly any)
(yes it would have been much easier to just buy a mudguard.... but thats not how i roll....:p)
