When the task is going well, some Chrysler engineer 20 years ago designed a part to upend all of your progress.
See t hat hexagonal nipple and hexagonal opening around the bolt head? Yeah apparently these were fused together to act as the window track guide. All the window motor torque on two pieces of plastic butt fused together.
But I will win.
Behold
Drilled through the back, opened it up, sank a bolt with washers, wedged it back in, greased and popped up the bump stop. I will win this Chrysler engineer.
