I worked at a Ford dea l ership when we got over 50 of these to PDI becofe they were to be used as courtesy cars for our dealership and one in Workington.
They were such a little happy car, the glove box in the early KA consisted of a hole essentially in the top of the dashboard in front of the passenger and had a large sort of boxed-oval piece of plastic you lifted off, yes off. It wasn’t hinged or made to look good, it was just a piece of plastic you hooked your finger into and lifted up.
You can pick these up for £500,
This one is a 2003, 24,000 miles, red Ford KA 1.3, £550.

This has the typical rust spot below the filler cap, and lacks the original hubcabs. The bumpers are not too faded, so it’s got that going for it I guess

Urgh as a Brit I hate these things. I tend to put them in the same category as Priuses and Ford Galaxys. Always driven erratically and well under the speed limit.

Fantastic little car. I had one back in the days, it was certainly a bit slow but handled like a go kart.
And such a happy looking vehicle, not pretentious/aggressive/grrroaar , just simple and fun ...
