Ah, such joy. I can’t watch Leno but I can’t wait to watch these vids.
I remember Doug mentioning in another video off-handedly that this is sort of the peak for him. I think he was saying he wouldn’t fly to Europe just to review cars, but he may do it for an F1. Anyway, happy for him.

What’s funny about Leno is I hate him as a comedian but love him as a car guy, and Jay Leno’s Garage is without question the best car nerd series on all of YouTube. It’s great just watching him geek out over everything, and I love how the series is done knowing that it’s going to be viewed entirely by car nerds so he can go into detail about mechanical bullshit with everything.

He’s ch ronically unfunny but he knows so much about cars, and he really does drive them all so it’s impossible to hold his collection against him. Plus he does seem to genuinely enjoy sharing his collection with people, even if he hates sharing the spotlight.

I’m not sure. I just don’t like watching him talk. I feel like when he’s interviewing someone, he’s more interested in telling them about himself and his own anecdotes than actually talking to them.
I’d rather watch Chris Harris, or Doug. Doug keeps it pretty non-technical for the masses, but you can tell he’s a car nerd through and through. And “more Doug” has a bit more of that tasty detail.
