One of the best deals out there in terms of cars in my opinion is the Kia Cadenza brand new, I’m seeing them at $10K (CDN) off MSRP. Used, the deals are amazing. Depreciation hits these things like a runaway train.

They must be cheap for a reason. I don’t think I’ve even seen a cadenza in the wild yet. Pretty sure the Genesis/Equus twins beat them to the punch. Being a Kia, I can only imagine the cheap and unreliable that lurks just beneath the surface. I’m on the fence with Kia. I’ve driven Kia twice (Rio both times, rental) and was horrified both times. But in the last 3 years, I find myself really drawn to their design language. I am in love (visually) with the stinger and the promises it makes, but am still very dubious of the quality. In 10 years, will it all be looked at as a joke (Caddilac Cimmaron) or a mistake (Chrysler)?

Don’t think I would ever advise to buy one of these new. You’re not kidding about depreciating like a rock. I’ve seen 2016 's with 25k miles go for 2o grand. Now that’s a lot of car for the money!

I can count the amount of second gen 6 window models I have seen with no fingers - I’ve never seen one. I’ve seen a handful of the first gen.

Runaway train depreciation is a thing with German sedans too, the bigger they are the harder they fall.  A 2016 E that might have stickered at 65-70K new will be maybe half that on a good day now.

Should have come with AWD as an option at least , but definitely much better than a comparable Buick LaCrosse. Always huge discounts on them

Seems like a good buy for someone in need of a work vehicle and who may have a $600 monthly car allowance......

It would be a huge upgrade over the Forte.

I keep eyeing these, I want a k900 but these might be more reasonable, it's on my list for a comfy old man cruiser though.
