Maybe. Not being a pilot I can’t really speak to it, but my guess would be that with low pressures and tall sidewalls a typical pre-ABS touchdown feel would be muted and the distortion of the carcass immediately prior to a skid wouldn’t be possible to feel - whereas with the Maxaret system, that distortion and starting to skip would cause pulsing...
