Found a few old treasures the other day, things that I thought were long gone. And I haven't even gone through the box of old Herpa and other 1/87 scale goodies.

That Rabbit is amazing! The only non Hot Wheels that I keep in my little display case is this old “golf GTI” it’s a horrible model, but I love that it’s a pizza delivery car.

That’s cool! That’s the closest thing to the GTI I drove in high school and college. Who made it? Can you do a snap of the base for me? I may have to track one down.

Madeby MaiSto. I have no idea how old it is, it was in my garage when we moved in 8 years ago.

Thanks for that info. I’m going to have to track one of those down now.
As I recall, the Golf and Scirocco were made in Spain by Solido. I know I’ve owned those models since they were representative of new cars you could walk into the showroom and buy, so they’re probably going on 40 years old now.

Yeah those seem to be a much higher quality model, if you find a mk1 cabriolet I’ll but it off you. Not maybe of those around
