Jackfruit is good. It is a commitment because they are so big. We found the texture like a pineapple, but the taste is a mix of b ananna and mango.

Jackfruit is gross but durian is delicious.

Not sure if trolling. Durian is heinous. There’s a reason it’s banned in many places in Singapore.

Not trolling. My parents love the stuff, and I grew up with it. The smell is less potent when its frozen and you can eat it like cold, dried mango. It s not bad once cooked either.

Company I worked for sold Jackfruit, it smelled like dying something.
I couldn’t stand it, and didn’t understand how some shops in the Boston area went through so much we did multiple deliveries a week, and special deliveries on weekends as needed just to make sure they had this stupid fruit.

If you buy one, a tip to make sure your knife is usable after you use it to cut the fruit is to rub the blade in canola oil before washing it . The sap on this thing will be impossible to clean with just soap.
