From what I understand, they made a limited run of 250 of them. And they sold for stupid amounts of money. (Think six figures).

That’s an XL1 and yes it was. They sold 250 as I recall.

Hm. Wo nder if it’s a Show & Display car in ‘murica. Which would kinda defeat it’s purpose what with the limited amount the miles you could drive it under that exemption.

For a gimmicky VW that has lower production numbers than the Veyron, those prices are honestly not bad.

It’s just kind of a shame that more of the technology didn’t trickle down. Like make something the same size/shape, but use the same drive train as the e-Up.
