Nice Isuzu. We almost got them here. Isuzu very nearly reached a distribution deal with Studebaker in the mid 1960s for the latter company to build Belletts and Bellels in Canada under license.

I believe they did build a few Belletts in Canada for a couple of years and they sold them in Canada for a few years. I found a Canadian market car on Kijiji once.

Interesting. I wonder if they used Studebaker’s Hamilton plant after they abandoned it, or if they used another plant in Canada.

It looks like it was Point Edward Nova Scotia, and it was before Studebaker completely shut down.

i’d rather have the white Holden Torana behind the Isuzu
