Further advances my theory that Tonayan was originally meant to be a high performance fuel.

Define work, because I think a few of these things will combust, and may power the car for a bit, but they are going to be hell on the fuel pump, injectors, etc.

Also, tangentially related, I knew of a guy who took home several quarts of TEP2190 from the Navy. It’s a a special oil used in steam turbines on ships and submarines . He figured it would be a fine substitute for motor oil, seeing as how it’s rated for ultra high temperatures and pressures found in steam turbines. Also the Navy has tens of thousands of gallons of the stuff for all its ships, they wouldn’t notice a few quarts missing. I’ll let you guess how that worked out.

I'm guessing bad, but I'd love to hear the end of this tale.

This stuff is way thinner than normal oil, it would be like trying to use canola oil for motor oil.  The engine started up and ran for a few seconds, and then wiped ALL THE BEARINGS.

It worked for like a minute, and then spun ALL THE BEARINGS. This stuff is a lot thinner than motor oil, it would be like using canola oil in your car.
